Dynamic Fonts Do Not Work

Dynamic Fonts Work in Internet Explorer but not in Netscape

1. Check your browser version. You need Netscape 4.03 or higher to view Dynamic Fonts.

2. Check the Dynamic Fonts option in Netscape.

3. Force the page to reload by holding down the Shift key while clicking the "Re-load or Refresh button.

4. Move to a Non-Dynamic Font page, then delete the Netscape caches.

Dynamic Fonts Work in Netscape but not in Internet Explorer

1. Check your browser version.

Dynamic Fonts look jagged or rough in Internet Explorer

  • In your Windows Display Properties sheet, turn on "Font Smoothing".
  • To turn on font smoothing, right click anywhere on your desktop
  • Put a check mark in the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" box.
    Click OK

    Note: If you have Windows 95 and do not see a Plus! tab, download the free Windows 95 font smoother from Microsoft.


    I see dots and lines instead of my Dynamic Fonts. How do I fix this?

  • Your Netscape browser has probably run out of memory resources.
  • Close your Netscape brwoser, then re-open it.
  • Also, Make sure you have the latest release from Netscape.

    There is a white fringe around Dynamic Font in Netscape

  • This problem is not in the Dynamic Font file. It is in the Dynamic Font Displayer used by Netscape.
  • It should have been fixed in Netscape browser versions 4.05 and 4.07, but is back in Netscape 4.5.
